METAMORPHOSIS – THE UNSEEN IS THE REAL STORY
On November 20, Iris Ceramica Group invites the public to discover a unique multisensory experience at the ICG Gallery in Berlin — a journey where appearances reveal much more than meets the eye. Surfaces transform before visitors’ eyes — not through magic, but through cutting-edge technology applied to ceramic materials.
Within the refined setting of the ICG Gallery, metamorphosis unfolds as an immersive culinary experience. Food becomes a sensory language: it stimulates sight, plays with textures and sounds, awakens hidden emotions, and envelops guests in the enchantment of transformation — guided by the skilled hands of a chef-alchemist.
Following the success achieved at Milan’s Fuorisalone and London Design Week, the ICG Gallery brings to Berlin Alchimia & Iris Ceramica Group: an innovative technology developed by VBH and integrated with the ceramic surfaces of the Group’s brands. This system makes a high-definition audio-video setup completely invisible, blending the monitor seamlessly into the ceramic surface, which also serves as a sound resonator. The result: surfaces that conceal screens and speakers, amplifying sound and redefining interaction.
A new example of beautility — the perfect fusion of beauty and functionality — this innovation transforms the experience of luxury interior design.
Completing the event, evocative video installations by visual artist Lorenza Liguori enhance the immersive dimension of the technology, bringing to life abstract yet realistic worlds that captivate the senses.
With Metamorphosis, the ICG Gallery offers visitors an extraordinary experience where nothing is as it seems — a celebration of art, design, and technology intertwined in the continuous transformation of matter.
